WAYS OF FORGETTING

WE ARE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO TRANSFER OURSELVES TO THE FUTURE THROUGH A RAPIDLY CLOSING BOTTLENECK OF TIME, BUT NOT TO EVERYONE WILL BE GIVEN THE PERMISSION TO KEEP GOING. THIS FACT NATURALLY MEANS THAT THERE HAS TO BE SOME SORT OF DEMAND FOR NECESSITY TO SACRIFICE SOMETHING: THE DEAREST THINGS WE HAVE. CONCEPTS, RITUALS, CULTURAL PATTERNS, ALL KINDS OF RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN US AND THE WORLD.

Unthinkable subtlety of touches conveyed by the tips of their fingers, they're doing the same thing daily.

Waving by the wings, never will ravens be eating meat, hanging from a skeleton, tricking bones, playful flesh, melody of resonance. Strings of stoney lashes drizzling slowly into the open jaw of a dog, I'm just feeding...

There never will be enough time for everyone, only for death, when it is collecting grown up seed... Without any word, leaving...

My eyes do not have skin / My skin does not have an eye / My mind has them both / Without a slightest sign of fear / Going far beyond / That contradiction / Is there a fiction? / Strange appearance? / What does it mean? / A map on my skin? / As if it would be a landscape / Layers of time stored here / Spacial diagrams / Unique journey / From A to B / From B to C / And so on / For my mind / Unattainable area of blank dreams.

"Přítomnost vždy pozměňuje, ztemňuje obrazy minulosti. Fenomén života v sobě zrcadlí tuto manipulaci, tu past, tu hrůzu, do níž se tak šťastně propadáme. V marné snaze pomoci se stáváme spolutvůrci té lepkavé hmoty skutečnosti, jejíž příběhy, pokud se na ně ohlédneme, již nejsou tak docela srozumitelné."

Pár slov o krajině a o přírodních a kulturních fragmentech v ní: dlouhé větve stromů, obrovité pařezy, polámané dřevo, staré kamenné zdi, ruiny domů i solitérní balvany. Ty všechny mne inspirovaly k realizaci projektu, ve kterém se v kreativním procesu kombinuje práce těla, barev a tvarů.

Herein, a few words on landscape and on the natural and cultural fragments found within it:

Imagine long tree branches, huge tree trunks, broken wood, stone walls, ruins of a houses and solitary rocks. All those have inspired me into making this project where the body, colours and shapes join in a creative process.

"When I catch it, I hold it steady but gently with special care. Using my body, I'm prolonging the trajectories of two nearby spots, joining the together. I stay there for some time (five to twenty minutes), completely present, with my mind open, trying to tune myself to the soundscape around me."
